Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by you
In order not to lose your deposit you must notify us with more than 24 hours' notice. Deposits for any sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are refunded at our discretion.
Cancellation by us
If a session is cancelled by us due to adverse conditions, a full refund will be given. However, conditions are deemed to be unsuitable according to our judgment.
We will notify you within 24 hours of the session if we think that the session would be unsafe because of the prevailing conditions.
Change of session due to weather / water levels
Refunds will not be given if the session type you requested is unavailable (for example a river trip when there has been no rain or a costal trip if the sea is rough). Instead an alternative session to cater for the abilities of the group will be arranged. This alternative session may be shorter and you will be expected to pay a proportion of the original figure to reflect the length of the session.
If weather forecasts predict that the arranged session cannot go ahead, you will be notified within 24 hours of the scheduled session. Cancellation at this point may result in the loss of the deposit but as a mark of goodwill rescheduling of the session can be arranged.
Changing of session duration within 24 hours of commencement
If you wish to change the duration of the session to a lesser duration, the deposit for the entire duration will be kept (to cover loss of business incurred by the booking). You will not be expected to pay the entire amount of the original session but the amount for the session undergone plus 20% of the remaining duration price.
Conclusion
All of these policies are based on what we consider to be fair practice. If these do not seem fair to you please contact us and we can come to an agreement.
