Kayaking classes and sessions
I am Head Coach Anthony Hodson and I would like you to come and try Britain's most popular water sport. It can be done in nearly any weather; in fact, once you get the basics it's usually more fun when the weather has been bad!
Located on the west coast of mid Wales , Aberystwyth is set in the heart of cardigan bay. An area of outstanding natural beauty with its clean welsh rivers, blue flag beaches and wildlife. We operate a fully mobile service within the local area from our base in Aberystwyth.
The holiday and University town has two rivers feeding into its sheltered harbour/marina. Few British areas are as suitable for beginner and intermediate kayaking.
We operate from of a very distinct converted ambulance which offers a warm place to change and eat lunch (heaven forbid it should not be sunny!) and our sessions include all the equipment required (with the exception of footwear).
Our friendly sessions cater for every level of kayaker, from taster sessions lasting 45 minutes to entire days on the river/coast (weather dependant of course). Find out more about our range of classes here or contact us and we will discuss your needs here.

Dolphins In Aberystwyth
On the 31st of July Dolphins were spotted off the coast of Aberystwyth, Unfortunately my camera was not to hand but we paddled towards them (myself and two paddlers) and were treated to the spectacle of a mother and calf dolphin about ten feet away from us!
